Neograft

In FUE technique, initially graft is punched or scored with the help of a rotating cylindrical punch and after that extracted manually with the help of forceps. This is two-step process which is a little time consuming. Neograft punches or scores the follicular unit and then sucks it out of the skin with the help of vacuum. This sucked out graft is stored in a chamber and later removed for the implantation. While implanting the neograft machine again blows the graft to be inserted in to the pre-made recipient sites over the scalp.

However, some hair transplant surgeons claim that this vacuum assisted extraction can actually damage the grafts or potentially dry up the grafts. However it is quite popularly used in some hair transplant centres.
