After a comprehensive consultation to evaluate the patient’s concerns and goals, general anesthesia or local anesthesia will be applied to the treatment area. The thread is then inserted into the skin using a thin needle and, once in place, is gently stretched to lift and support the tissue. This surgery usually takes less than an hour to complete.
