The routinely available methods consisting of oral medications and sprays are only temporary methods of hair regrowth. IS THERE ANY OTHER METHOD OF PERFORMING HAIR TRANSPLANT?
Yes. There is a method called the ‘Strip Method’ or Follicular Unit Transplant (the FUT method). In this method rather than removing individual follicles of hair from the back of the head, an entire strip of skin is removed and then dissected to obtain follicles from them. This method is used when a large area is of bald patch is to be covered as it obtains a larger number of follicles. However it does leave bigger scar as compared to the above mentioned FUE method as stitches are placed in the area from where strip is removed. WILL I HAVE TO BE ADMITTED IN HOSPITAL AFTER HAIR TRANSPLANTATION? IF YES, FOR HOW LONG?
The technique we use produces so less wound that you don’t need to get admitted. You are discharged with post operative instructions the same day of the procedure. You will need to take rest at home for a period of 2 days after the procedure. That it!
WHEN DO I EXPECT THE HAIR TO RE-GROW AGAIN?

One thing I always tell my patients before doing the procedure is that hair loss, which is also called the ‘male pattern baldness’, is a progressive condition just like aging process. You can’t stop growing old can you? (At least not yet!). The hairs which are transplanted are permanent and don’t fall even if baldness progresses as these hair follicles are quiet resilient.
