Following are the sample cases of the hair transplant results at our centre. Some of the cases have show complete hair growth at less than 9 months duration. However this should be considered as an exception rather than a rule.
In General, final hair transplant results are declared at almost an year after the hair transplant surgery.
Hair Transplant Steps in Short: How the hair evolves?
A more extensive information regarding hair transplant growth can be found here. However following is a short version.
- Hair Transplant is done and first 7 days there only will be appearance of the scabs
- When the scabs disappear, you can see the planted hairs appear in a pattern.
- Shedding of these planted hairs begins by 15 days gradually. Sometimes it is very slow and hardly noticeable. But over the next 2-months, hairs go in the shedding phase. THe density of the planted hairs drops with time till 3 months
- Growth phase after about 4 months of hair transplant, the hairs begin to form again and density gradually starts to increase. This also marks begening of a hair line. Appearance starts to improve every week after this.
- By 9 months gradually 90-100 percent hair are completely grown.
